New Bern is the second oldest colonial town in North Carolina and the first permanent capital city. It was named after the Canton of Bern in Switzerland
 
 It is also famous for being the "The Birthplace of Pepsi" and you can visit the the drugstore where the drink was invented in the 1890s.
 
Because it is hand crafted, the wood grains and color of the paint may vary from the pictures.
