New Bern is the second oldest colonial town in North Carolina and the first permanent capital city. It was named after the Canton of Bern in Switzerland.
 
It is also famous for being the "The Birthplace of Pepsi" and you can visit the the drugstore where the drink was invented in the 1890s..

These were laser etched/cut, hand painted and then filled with clear food grade epoxy enhancing the 3D map.  They are 4" in diameter and 3/8" thick.
