The Albemarle Sound is a large estuary on the coast of North Carolina in the United States. It forms part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. Much of the water in the Albemarle Sound is brackish or fresh, as opposed to the saltwater of the ocean, as a result of rivers water pouring into the sound, like the Chowan and Roanoke rivers.

These were laser etched/cut, hand painted and then filled with clear food grade epoxy enhancing the 3D map.  They are 4" in diameter and 3/8" thick.

Each coaster is handcrafted thus the wood grains and color of the paint may vary from the pictures a bit.
