This magnet features the flag associated with the pirate Blackbeard (Edward Teach) who used Bath as one of his bases.
Bath was North Carolina's first town and port of entry, chartered on March 8, 1705. It was named after Bath, England by the English settlers who founded the town. Located on the Pamlico River, it developed a trade in naval stores, furs, and tobacco.
Historically, Bath is often counted as North Carolina's first capital in 1712. The capital was officially moved to Edenton in 1722.
Because it is hand crafted, the wood grains and color of the paint may vary from the pictures.
Each 3D magnet was laser etched/cut and hand painted. They are 4" in diameter and 1/4" thick.
